disciple1
Hello, I have spent alot of time and effort in adding/deleting/trying contributions to see if they do what I need them to do before placing my files live on my website. I am wondering how the next milestone release of osc will affect all I have done or will do? I recently read a post that stated some files that were in application_top are now in a different file and a few other things that would indicate (to me at least) that a simple upgrade to the newest version would be pretty much impossible. Am I out of line thinking this? Any information on how an upgrade can/will be done would be greatly appreciated. Rick All that is not eternal is eternally useless. rseigel
I am wondering how the next milestone release of osc will affect all I have done or will do? Of course it will. That's the way it works. Either update on a regular basis from the CVS or be happy with what you have now. Updating from one version to the next is not a small task. Guest
Your telling me , I had one hella of a pain the ass time of upgrading from the 2.2 to the ms1 ... man that was a pain in the ass !
rseigel
Been there...done that...not going there again. That's exactly the reason I keep my sites all updated to the latest CVS. As much of a pain in the butt as it is it's one heck of a lot easier than upgrading all in one shot.
Anguz
so... what would be the best option? download the latest snapshot rather than the milestone? I'm trying to decide what to download right now, so your experienced advice will be very welcome ;)
