Now......I've set up the Canada Post shipping module for the physical products and all is well. The downloads area is working grand too. My questions is........how do I stop the shipping from being charged on the service products such as Website hosting and domain name purchases? Try as I might, I can't quite get it. Ajeh Posted April 16, 2003 Share Posted April 16, 2003 Add the Downloads Controller v5.3 and use 0 weight on things without shipping and Free Shipping will popup. Or, modify the checkout_shipping.php and /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php to figure out that 0 weight products with no download have no shipping and extend the free shipping feature built in based on order total. Please provide an option to simply make a certain item have no shipping charges. I read somewhere in the forum that if you made it 'downloadable' it will not be shippable. You are always welcome to hire me for the custom work ... 8) Or, you can wait until the new releases come out ... as I have time to write these free add-ons. The new Shoppe Enhancement Controller which combines the Attributes Sorter and Copier, Downloads Controller, Quantity Controller, Free Call for Price and numerous other add-ons and tricks (I do think it will be any day ... it is so close to being done) has this in it so you can specify attribute weight per product per attribute plus one time attribute charges on top of the regular attribute price*qty purchased.
