plasma
Hi all. I am attempting to set up an oscommerce site for a friend's new computer business, and have done so correctly so far, but have noticed that there is no logon page for the administration module. Is there something I have missed in configuring the site? Any help would be greatly appreciated. - plasma~ ph33r t3h l337.
orchard
There are two suggestions I have seen. One is to rename the admin directory to some other no standard name. The other is to password protect the admin directory using .htaccess or tools provided by your hosting company. In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
Ajeh
Or, if you have Cpanel ... go to Web Protect ... Click on the admin directory name and set your password there.
plasma
Thanks, I was going to make a .htaccess file, but I've seen a login page for the admin module before on my boss' site, just wondering if anyone knew what it was. - plasma~ ph33r t3h l337.
