Regards, I have a lot of time that I did not work on Oscemmerce projects to be exact since its version 2.1 and many things have changed, I recently installed on my server UBUNTU with PHP7 and Mysql5 version 2.3.4 and I made the modifications of the original files Required to install successfully, and that part I have done, but I am trying to understand the new code and that it took me a long time to adapt to the new code, I was struck that when I access the details of one Of the products in /product_info.php me on said pag does not show me the boxes as Categories access to my project is in https://goo.gl/JgMQ7L I do not know if any of the people Of this group has happened and knows how to solve this situation, thanks in advance and greetings from Venezuela.

Don't waste your time trying to get the stock osC 2.3.4 to run on a current system. You'll be much better off getting 2.3.4BS Edge from Github and installing that. It's up to date (to at least PHP 5.6 -- you may have to do some minor editing for PHP 7.0), is much more secure, and is responsive. Stock 2.3.4 is obsolete and doesn't even run on current PHP levels.

Disculpe, si he estado efectuando modificaciones y el link estaba caido, ya he puesto el link disponible nuevamente.

Sorry, if I have been making changes and the link was down, I have already made the link available again.

Thanks for taking the time to answer, I downloaded the latest non-beta version available at https://www.oscommerce.com/Products that version you refer to where I can get it? Another serious query if this core is not protected for future modifications, thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience.

No, that is the obsolete one. Start here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/408979-upgrading-to-the-latest-version/ although that may be the "Gold" version, which is a bit behind the "Edge" version (which is also on Github). I'm not sure either is PHP 7 ready, but there are instructions on this forum for modifying 2.3.4BS to be PHP 7 compatible.

At some point there should be a 2.3.5 released. Don't use it, because you will be moving backwards (it's non-responsive). At some point, there should be a 2.4 released. It is OK to upgrade to that, as it is supposed to be based on 2.3.4BS and will be responsive.
