@Harald Ponce de Leon

Can't replicate, must have been a temporary glitch. I'll let you know if it pops up again.

I know this has been said before, but can we please get rid of the ancient demo products? They may have been fresh and relevant 15 years ago, but now they just make osCommerce look old and tired.

The community has donated a nice selection of new products that are available to use. If you don't want to use those, please find some modern products that you like and use those instead.

Regards

Jim

Did we just reach the system limit of 3000 commits and stopped working on 2.4 beta -or- is this pure coïncidence ?

FYI Just upgraded from PHP 5.3 to PHP 5.5  and saw big performance improvement.
But be aware php 5.5 is more strict about things.
UTF8-without BOM, no extra spaces allowed at the beginning or end of your php file, or your redirects wont work.
No double declarations of functions allowed - used to slip through the cracks ...

@bruyndoncx weekly releases haven't been weekly and commits appear to have stopped at 3000, however the hard work is still continuing.

Here is a screenshot preview of the database schema tool being introduced in v2.4.3 that will start the initiative of supporting upgrades/migrations:

@harald

I suppose it's a limit of github, in this case it's impossible to follow the development. Is not possible to create in this case another project and include only 2.4 ?

Is possible to download the dev ?

@Gyakutsuki and @bruyndoncx

osCommerce isn't even close to hitting the Github commit limit. torvalds/linux has over 640,000 commits!
