Problem of understanding with Security Trap V2

Shop is running on ver. 2.3.4, I installed http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5914 this contrib. The trap is definded to use excessive HTTP errors. There's a permanent redirection to HTTPS for the shop.

   

There's a pre-defined section to ban bad bots. 92 user agents listed so far.

 

Now, if I access my site using http://whatsmyuseragent.com/CheckServerResponseCodes with the user agent i.e. Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; YandexBot/3.0; http://yandex.com/bots) I get the response:

This user agent is defined to ban.

 

Does it firstly have to be trapped? Or will it be banned instantly while accessing the site? Or is there a problem with the HTTPS redirection?
