Payment Modules when Order Total = 0

I have installed a coupon module and have stumbled upon a small problem. It seems that many payment modules can't deal with a total amount of 0 for orders.

For example:

1. User puts products with a total amount of $50 into cart.

2. User selects credit card as payment option and uses coupon code of $50 => Total amount = 0

3. Third party Credit card modul starts regardless of the fact that the user does not have to pay anything and demands input.

Same goes for many other payment modules for payment providers. Usually at some point they return an error code however the user is usually barred from checking out.

Question is how to deal with that kind of problem in a way that I do not have to change the code in the payment modules but get a solution that works for all.

Any ideas?

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).

So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?!

Find the most frequent unique errors to fix:

grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
