I just starting getting this error when I try and logon as Admin

Anyone know what the problem could be when I logon to admin I get this:

The error message says that includes/classes/action_recorder.php is missing. Is it?

It also says that the path to your web root is /hermes/bosoraweb188/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop. Is that correct? You can usually find this by looking in your FTP client, or you may have to ask your host.

I can see this in my control panel is my document root: /home/users/web/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop

 

The ipower tech support is looking into it but I wont hold my breath.

Did you change hosts, or did your host change the server you were on? If so, you need to change the server path in both configure.php files to match the new server.

_{I didn't change servers... I'm not sure if they changed something on the host side... I will ask. Wouldn't that make the front end not work as well. Because my shop is up... Just the admin is down with the error.}

Yes, it should cause problems with both. Check that both of the configure.php files have the same path.

I just checked and two are correct:

 

(/hermes/bosoraweb188/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop/public_html/includes/classes/action_recorder.php

 

But I don't see anything with the other two that reference the following:

 

/hermes/bosnaweb09a/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop/public_html/admin/includes/classes/action_recorder.php on line 13

 

I'm not sure why...

I've seen hosts change the server and not warn you. They think they're smart enough to make the changes. Sometimes they are. Since what you are showing there are two different servers on Ipower, my bet is they tried to move you to a different server and bungled the change.

The error message very clearly says that you are running as /hermes/bosnaweb09a/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop/public_html/..., but that it's trying to load a file from /hermes/bosoraweb188/b1524/ipw.notarysupplyshop/public_html/... which does not match (is a different account or server). Your configure.php file(s) no longer match where you are actually running. Most likely your host moved you without telling you.
