Nivo Slider on Homepage of Template

textbook

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I bought a template and I cant seem to figure out how to remove the nivo slider (I think that is what it's called) on the homepage.

This is the template: livedemo00.template-help.com/osc_41881/index.php

I'm talking about the box with the slider in it showing Featured Products in 1 row.

When I go to my admin panel/modules/boxes and disable Nivo Slider, the whole homepage gets scrambled.

Im thinking its something to do with the actual template style files?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, I have not yet installed this add-on, but have downloaded the files to do so. From looking through those it appears If you have it installed already you may be able to change it by going to Administrator -> Configuration -> Nivo Slider or

(Add, Modify and Remove) via Administrator -> Tools -> Banner Manager.  I would say if those do not have the options for what you need you may want to go download the add-on which includes the instructions as to where the code for the slider should be found that you can remove from the source code files necessary. Here is the particular add-on I am referring to, but not sure if that is what has been installed on your website. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/9096

Thanks so much for the reply.

I'm really sorry I just realized that it's actually not the nivo slider.

I'm referring to the Featured Products section on the homepage that has a scrolling feature on this template: livedemo00.template-help.com/osc_41881/index.php

I cant figure out which file I have to edit to get it off the homepage.

Support for the template is provided by the template vendor.

Ask the template vendor, then post back the solution for future people who buy the same poorly coded template.
