[email protected] Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 i am using OSC v2.2RC2 and have been quite satisfied overall, however, there are some quirky details that have been eluding me:the way things are set up currently, i'm supposed to get two separate email messages when someone makes an order - one from the site, and one from paypal.it worked fine for a long time, then, about a year or so ago, the way it actually works changed into something somewhat more convoluted, and i'm not totally sure why: sometimes, when people make an order, i get a message from paypal, but not from the site. sometimes i get a message from the site, but not from paypal. and sometimes i get both messages. i don't know why, and i find it somewhat disturbing.another thing is that, for orders placed outside the united states, paypal has been resolutely NOT figuring the shipping costs, and allowing people to complete their order without adding shipping to the total cost. it ONLY happens for people outside the US, people ordering from within the united states have shipping figured out without a problem, even when i don't get a message from one or the other when they place an order. it has been suggested that i upgrade my paypal module, but i'm not exactly sure how to do that. i originally set up the site in 2009, and have pretty much done nothing to it since then. i would greatly appreciate whatever help this forum can provide. ⇑ Hybrid Elephant ⇒ http://www.hybridelephant.com/ ⇐ The World's Finest Exotic Incense ⇓ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
