elijahweb Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 :) I am trying to learn Mysql as fast as possible so I can successfully populate my Bookstore site with 9000 items for a client who's becoming impatient. I have Easy Poplulate working ona trial basis, but my BASIC questions are like: Do I need to match word for word the Mysql database fields with the tab delimited database file I upload. I also just reallyt need someone to say ..hey here are the five big thing syou need to know to make it work. I'm looking at the os Commerce pages to se what I need to do to make the searching of those fields work well. My latest uploads worked other than the field confusion. However, every file I uploaded loaded another instance of teh maunfacturer because each product had a field eith teh publisher name in int. It loaded every time.
