How to check oscommerce version

OSC site version 2.3.1 is hosted with Hostgator which offers 2.3.1 version via fantastico.

 

now completed first phase to upgrade site to 2.3.2 but now within the admin it still says 2.3.1 .. perhaps its HG .. so how can I check via some alternate way if the upgrade was successful and now site is 2.3.2 version

The fact a site displays 2.3.1 doesn't mean it has not been upgraded.

 

It could mean this line in server_info.php

 

echo '<table border="1" cellpadding="3" width="600" style="border: 0px; border-color: #000000;">' .

is not picking up an image reflecting the upgrade has been completed.
