How can I get it so that after people have made payment by Paypal Express they are directed to checkout_success.php and not to checkout.php as it appears to be confusing customers who think they have paid.

Any ideas?

@cclayton

Your return URL from PayPal should be to /checkout_process.php

Have a look in your paypal profile under selling preferences (I think thats where it is)
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder, so dont bother sending PMs asking for help as you wont get any.

OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work.  If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.

Thanks Steve, I have done this but it makes no difference so I assume there's something in my code that needs amending.
