We are unable to access our admin page all of a sudden. This is the message we get
Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Our hosting co. said it had to do with oscommerce. I've tried to go into phpmyadmin
and delete the admin table- but there is no admin table! Not very tech savvy... need help!

did you recently upgrade to 2.3.2?
Web Developer, Firebug, and Notepad++ are powerful free tools for web design.

Did someone at your end (or even, your host) make your admin password-protected for security reasons? That should be done, to keep hackers out (as well as changing the name of 'admin' to something unguessable, getting rid of file_manager and define_language, and some other security stuff). When you attempt to go into admin, are you being asked for an ID and password? If yes, someone did a password protection. Find the ID and password and use them, or go into your hosting control panel and unpassword protect the directory and then re-add the password protection with an ID and password you know.
