I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. I have installed the likes of seo url 5, kiss meta tags in the past so I think the issue is not there but basically what I trying to accomplish with my website www.nontando.com is that when you press one of my categories. eg. masks, all I want appearing in my url/header is :
www.nontando.com/african masks
right now I have when you select the masks category.
http://www.nontando.com/index.php/masks-c-29
This would basically apply to all my categories and I got to imagine this has a negative impact for SEO as folks would be searching for african masks not index.php/masks-c-29.
Any guidance would be much appreciated....

@bksbeat
Go to admin>>configuration>>SEO URLs 5 and set option "Force www.mysite.com/ when www.mysite.com/index.php" to Ture.
Or
Add a rule to htaccess to redirect /index.php to www.domainname.com.

Praful,
It is set to true, i.e. SEO URL 5.
I tried last night to add code to htaccess and nothing worked - I am not sure how to Add a rule to htaccess to redirect /index.php to www.nontando.com. If the config SEO URL 5 is not working I doubt the htaccess will make any difference.
I am thinking of rewriting my website in weebly - osc has become too cumbersome and outdated to manage.
