Returning customers cannot login

Many of our returning customers cannot login for some reason.

Does anyone know how to cure this error?

First do check error log.

I found a file called store/osc/error_log but this doesn't contain any info

Have you made any changes to the login.php file, validation.php file or the database ?

Are you using v2.3.1 ? VRC2a or a Hybrid upgrade ?

Is this only happening with Internet Explorer ?
