I've installed Option Types for 2.3.1.  I'm looking for a mod or best way to prevent the cart from adding a product more than once when the attribute is changed.

If I add product 1 with attribute AAAA - then cart should be = product 1 QTY 1 with attribute AAAA

Next if I add the same product but change the attribute to BBBB then only update the quantity and change the attribute.

product 1 QTY 2 with attribute BBBB

Ideas?
