I just installed a new cart 2.3.1 on my server and all went smoothly but I have not been able to get sendmail so work. I have another older version that has been highly modified, 2.2 on the same server and mail functions normally. I do not even know where to start since it was several years ago that I set up the prior cart and it has been our main income producer for years so naturally I do not change anything for fear of breaking it.  
Any suggestions? The configuration is set to sendmail, LF, From address is correct and the same domain as the other cart.
