i have a stores work with oscmax script
if i need to move to oscommerce can i convert database from oscmax to oscommerce ?

You can, but it's going to take some work. Oscmax is an old version of osCommerce with a bunch of addons. Some of those addons change/add to the database. You'll have to compare the database from your oscmax to the 2.3.1 database and make the necessary changes. Some knowledge of database structure and a database admin tool (such as phpMyAdmin) will be required.

Once you get the database converted, then you have to add the necessary Addons to the osCommerce PHP code to restore the functions you want.

Use whatever you think will benefit your business. I can't make that decision for you. Somewhere on the oscmax site is a list of the addons they used; that would work as a starting point.
