I am using OSC 2.3.1.  I want to edit the main stylesheet, but I don't have good descriptions of all the parts of that file.  Is there a good help file or something?

I saw this when I did a search - http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4692.  However, this is for a very old version.

Thank you all for the help.

To help you with the stylesheets install a small free program called topstyle lite. Google will find it for you.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder, so dont bother sending PMs asking for help as you wont get any.

OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work.  If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.
