Hi All,

I am completely new to osCommerse and thought I would stop and say hello.

I just took on a client who's website was built with osCommerse. I warned him that I had no previous experience with this software but he took a chance on me anyway. Just makes me want to work harder and deliver on his needs.

My first question, the first of many I'm sure, is how do I find out which version of osCommerse is being used. Is there a file that will tell me this?

Cheers,

Con

Before posting questions I always try google with a search like "OSC forum which version of osCommerse is being used"

You will find that many of the questions or error codes you see have been asked or discussed before
Now my store is the way I want it - Secure, working well, and good Google Ranks - Thanks to all for the help given.

If you want to see the mods I have installed, then see my profile.

Thanks guys.

@Mort-lemur I agree, its  always better to search before asking a question. I was just looking for a way to interact with the community. Making a noob error probably wasn't the best start, but I will do better in future.

@gabacusSorr

sorry, I did not mean to sound grumpy .... I was only suggesting what I have found to be the best way to find info on the forum.
Welcome and good luck
