This is a strange situation.  On my site: www.bgcitybiz.com/wholesale I have a few categories which work, i.e., Bridal Jewelry, Glue On Nails and Nail Polish, however when I place Organza Bags into a folder and test at checkout, the price doubles.

I have one class of bags listed at $2.50 but when i click the Buy Now button and get to my shopping cart, the price is doubled.

Please anyone - what could be the problem here?

Hate to continue if I can't get this resolved.
Thanks
DrDon

@drdon

The reason is doubles is because you have your attributes set up incorrectly.  Attributes ALWAYS add to the base price.  So, your first attribute should have NO value

OK - that is a bit confusing.
I went back and created an attribute with no Option Value or Value Price for the first number in the category and I still get a double price.
Would you give me a more specific answer please?

@drdon

This product http://www.bgcitybiz.com/wholesale/product_info.php?products_id=103

Has a base price of 2.50 but then you have the colors in the pull down for 2.50 each more...that makes them EACH 5.00.  remove the price from the attributes if the bags are all 2.50 each.

Chris is right. Next to the attribute you have +$2-50. When you add that to the original 2-50 you do get 5-00.

Remove the price from the attribute.

Its there because some people offer a product in different quantities.

@drdon

You can offer the product in a different color at the same price.  BUT, for example if the Fushia bag is 50 cents more, then you COULD add +.50 to the fushia selection.  Which would then change the price from 2.50 to 3.00 for the color selection.
