Not sure where to begin looking for this but what would cause the nav bar to be displayed incorrectly? I poked around a bit in product_info.php but didn't spot anything.

Without making changes to the stylesheet.css and header.php the MAXIMUM store logo size is 257 x 60px. Your store logo is so big, it is pushing the buttons half way down the page. Either make the code changes or reduce you store logo to the maximum size.

Start reading here up to the first post by multimixer.
You may have to adjust the height of the header code in the stylesheet to fit your particular logo.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
