Hi, i need to build an ecommerce website where i want to sell service: user makes a subscription for 1, 2 o more years and i have to bill (make an invoice and have a payment on my payment gateway) automatically every 2/4/6 months (user can choose frequency.
Is it possible? Is there any module for this?

Yes, it is possible. No, there's nothing like that already written that I am aware of.

I think that is one of the things supported by the osfinancials / oscommerce team in the netherlands headed up by domé guiliano.
They have a hosted solution for both, perhaps you can see and try it out
