I've tried to find this answer myself; I know the table format in oscommerce is 940 pixles; what I wanted to know is what the width of the header is?

My graphic was set to cover just the left side, which left the three bottons available at the top right, I didn't like the way that looked, so I made my graphic larger, now it is pushing the buttons down a row so that it appears down into the page content - ....(under the top -> catalog header.

If this is two columns, and the cart button as well as the other two appear in the right column, how/where can I find that setting?  I didn't see it in the css file, but I was wondering if there is a way to set the background so my header looks more complete?

The default logo is 60 x 257

Have you thought of having your header image as a background image called in your header area of the stylesheet. You then have to comment out the logo image code from the header file.

Tried Jims solution above and it didn't work - the buttons are still appearing below the header....so I guess I'll try Steve's too....other suggestions?

You can change the height setting in the stylesheet.css file and the width in the /includes/header.php file.

They don't appear there using my browsers.

Try holding the <Ctrl> key down while doing a page refresh with your browser.

That forces the browser to reload all contents from the server

You may be looking at your machines cache of the page.
