Divide a box price + bonus question on updating

Hello osCommerce community!

I've been building a site for the past couple days and have so far not had much trouble, kinda reminds me of my days spent playing with linux. ;) At any rate I have come to a point where I am unable to find what I am looking for.

The issue: I'm selling produce(Fruits&Veggies) by the pound or by the unit however my site is meant to cater to both residential clients and corporate clients. With this in mind I wish to set all my catalog prices based on corp price then divide for res pricing, otherwise the only way I see this idea working is by adding a corp pricing atribute then charging per unit on either attributes. The problem with attributes is that it requires that do double or even triple the amount of updating. This is a MAJOR issue once you consider that I have 150-300 items to update a week.

Now with this in mind my initial thought was to look for an addon that would allow me to set a wholesale price then divide for the per unit price which would be controlled by quantity boxes I have setup.

eg: box of 125 apples costs 35$ for corporate and I would like to sell by the unit which would be 0.28$ If a client wants 3 apples he would use a dropdown list, pick res pricing per unit, then punch in three. The site would then update the shopping cart with 3 apples for 0.28$ giving a total of 0.74$

BONUS question

How should I best handle updating so many items so frequently? Would there be a way to build a script that reads spreadsheets then updates the sql database?

I know this is proving to be a long post and I feel I should be able to find the right addon but have so far had no luck. :(

Cheers
