I signed up with Google to use thier custom search so now I need to create a box to put in or to replace the quick find with this.

Please advice how to do this.

Caution, I added that once but later when optimizing the same site in accordance with Google's own recommendations had to remove again as their code caused to many issues!

Did you see this one?
I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can.
I remember what it was like when I first started with osC.  It can be overwhelming.
However, I strongly recommend considering hiring a professional for extensive site modifications, site cleaning, etc.
There are several good pros here on osCommerce.  Look around, you'll figure out who they are.

Hi Burt,

Go to my site and search for the beatles for instance and you will get 30 hits before the beatles show up.

Anything you search for will never show up at the top but further down and sometimes a page or two away from top.

That's why I think it sux
