ok my privacy policy isnt what i had planedd .. i need some answers to posting my privacy policy on my
page./ check it out tell me whats missing... i had a guy look at it he said it didnt look like a store .. so i did a few change ups... tell me what you think im getting likes but but no one is buying? a lil help please

First things first.  DISABLE  USE SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY URL'S IN ADMIN>> CONFIGURATION>> MY STORE

That feature has NEVER worked.

Secondly,  post your /includes/languages/english/privacy.php file so we can look at what you have done. (attach the file to this thread)

No, this file should open in the main_text area of the website.  If it is opening in a new window, then you have changed the tep_href function.

By default, the page should open in the TEXT_MAIN area of the website, so it is something you changed that you will need to correct to make it display properly.

@DunWeb Have you seen how the page is displaying now?  It just prints out like a text document...

@kmartin You may want to grab the privacy.php page from a fresh download of osCommerce and upload it to the catalog (I think osstore on your site) folder.  The language is correct now but the page is really messed up.

Matt,  that is NOT the file I sent her.  That is the way the file was originally, before I sent the revised file.

@DunWeb Hey Chris, sorry I should have been more specific.  I just meant that whatever she had done to implement the language file you sent wasn't correct   Seems like the language one is fine but the main catalog one is messed up now?  I've just never seen that happen on my shop before...

The member has several problems since some of the code edits made were in error.  She has many threads open about the issues.  Unfortunately I think the member is in over her head and may want to consider professional help with her website.
