I would like to use osCommerce but I want to be able to allow different product managers to have access to administer their own product line (pricing; product details; stock control; etc) but not have access to other product line administration.
All commercial operations such as payment processing; banking, overall invoicing; record keeping; packaging & delivery; etc. would be as a single store, all under the control of the 'master' administrator.
Is this possible with osCommerce?

Via add-ons that is possible. Have a look at admin access levels and/or Supplier Admin Area
