Just ftp the files to your downloads folder.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder. OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work. If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.

I have no idea how to set up downloads, but I was searching the contribs and this came up, it might be what you need, maybe!

Super download shop does not allow for file uploads via the admin area. @guilherne still has to FTP the files to the /download directory

@guilherne,

osCommerce requires the download files to be FTP'd to the server. I would guess because larger files would cause the admin area to time-out before the upload was complete, but that is just a guess.
