I am upgrading from a osc v 2.2rc2 to osc v 2.3.1 and I was thinking about just doing a complete fresh install of 2.3.1 (the database too) instead of just upgrading the 2.2 db. This way I could have a fresh start (I have a couple minor but annoying issues with the current 2.2rc2 setup) and start from scratch but still be able ti import all important info (customers info, orders, products, etc)
What would be the process for this?
Could I just do the fresh install and then "export" certain tables from my 2.2rc2 db and "import" them into the 2.3.1 db?
Because I was concerned about the changes in the db from 2.2 to 2.3, I wasn't sure if I should export the whole table or maybe just the contents of it, or how I should go about this.

How can I import important database info from 2.2rc2 db to 2.3.1 db?

You can use phpmyadmin or whatever your hosts provide to transfer the tables, just make sure that the table layout is the same between the old db and the new.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
