I have a web developer who is building a site. I requested a forum on the site. He is now saying that oscommerce does not give support to an open source or forum to be intergrated being from a month ago... Is this correct? he is using v2.2. And what can i tell him to use instead?

He is correct in 1 way, I do not believe there is an add-on on the oac site for a forum.

Saying that there are many open source forums that can be linked from any site.

Maybe he has never done it and is not familiar with any.

Cheers

@Smart Arts,

A link to a forum software can be added to ANY website in a variety of ways. I am not sure why your developer does not think it can be done, but it can.

I think what the OP is after Chris is a forum that is fully integrated in oscommerce.
