Hello All!!
I hope that you can help?!
My boss has an online shop using the OSCommerce and I would like to stop users from ordering from the time being by putting the website as 'under construction' while I update the prices.
Now I don't have access to the FTP? side of things so I cannot have the whole thing offline as I need to be able to get to the shop online through the 'admin pages'
PLEASE help as I need to do this urgently.
Also, if anyone can help with this one too:
I would like to be able to download the prodcuts via excel to change prices and then re-upload them, rather than doing one at a time on the online admin side?
I have looked through the admin pages and I cannot find either!
Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Mike

How are you planning on altering the site if you do not have ftp access.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder. OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work. If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.

So in short I need FTP access?!
I know about cars not this type of stuff so forgive me for asking.
There is Easy Populate on the admin, I can download the product list but I cannot up load it just comes up with errors?! I assume that is because I do not have FTP access?
I am trying to upload the file from my PC (local C disc)
