Guest
Once you've set up OSCommerce, are your customers required to login? I'd prefer not to make them do this. I haven't downloaded the software yet, and I didn't spend a ton of time looking for this in the forums. Found some interesting information, but nothing specifically saying, "No, customers do NOT have to register/login to make purchases." Thank you in advance for any assistance. smiley
There is a contribution that does exactly that. Guest
I successfully installed the "autologon" contributiion and there were a lot of files to go into and add and change lines to. It is really a great contribution. Now after downloading this "purchase without an account" contribution, and reading the readme.txt file, I see it asks you to upload for example the first file which is login.php. This will wipe out the "autologin" code I entered into that same file. My question: What do we do in cases like this. Is there an easier way, or do we need to compare line by line the differences? If so, is there a program that can compare files and flag the differences? Also I am assuming (and hoping) the two contributions can work together.
