Hi everyone. I would like to know if you guys can help me fix this. I uploaded the catalog from version 2.3.1 to my root folder online and mySQL is set already and i get a msg on the configuration screen when opened for the first time saying an error (Please look at the picture i uploaded to see the error. When i tried to change the permitions using Samart stp or dreamweaver they say i could not understand the permittions??? PLEASE HELP ME, Any thought are welcome thank you!!

It's a Windowz server.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Those files are set to read only in windows speak.
you know if use windows explorer and you right click on a file name and select properies there is a read only box that you can tick.
So you need to untick that on these files and once the installation has completed make them read only again.
