Hi,

Newbie here. I installed 3.0.2 and have the basic site up and running. For the life of me I could not find documentation as to how to launch the admin tool, but I stumbled on it with this url index.php?Admin&Login. I logged in and was able to edit the 3 catagaries that were pre-populated (Books, Gadgets, Merchandise) by selecting Applications->Products->Catagories. But for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to add a new product or edit the existing ones. Under the Applications menu, Applications->Products->Catagories is the only choice I have (see attachment).

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi

It seems that you will need to use 2.3.1, because the 3.0.2 still doesnt have those features....we need to wait a little more...u can use 2.3.1 is a full release with all features...by the way when the version 3.x is completly ready please let me know i would like to try it too

Regards

You didnt miss it.  It is a joke that is being played by the forum administrators, and they think that its funny to let people download and try to install an incomplete system.  All they have to do is to mark it 'for developemnt only' or something similar, but they will not do it, no matter how many times this sort of problem arrises.  What a caring bunch.

Install 2.3.1 as that one works.
REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
I am not a coder, so dont bother sending PMs asking for help as you wont get any.

OSC has a steep learning curve, but in general the program does work.  If it doesnt work, the chances are it is something you have done.
