hi all
i'm having another 'newbie' problem
i cant change the file permissions for the /shop/includes/configure.php files.
they are currently set to 644 but when i try and change them to 444 they just revert back.
i've tried two different ftp programs and theyre both doing it.
any ideas what i'm doing wrong?
many thanks

Try changing the permissions using your hosting accounts file manager. Some hosting providers don't allow for file permission changes via FTP
