I have am currently using osCommerce v2.2 on an Apache server and am looking at upgrading my server from PHP4 to PHP5. Are there any best practices, other than a full backup, that I should be aware of? What problems am I likely to encounter? Are there any code or file changes that will need to be made?
Thanks,
Rin

Hello Rin
Which of the 2.2 family do you use?
there are 2.2 MS, 2.2 Rc1A, 2.2 RC2A
It depends on the version you are using, so far as i am aware and from memory the only one that might cause you problems is the 2.2 MS version

Some functions in PHP 4 have been deprecated in PHP 5. Follow the link above and you'll get a good idea what you're up against.
