Hi Tom,

The site looks nice. At this point I would guess you are just putting on a few final touches to complete everything and make sure it all goes together well and looks professional.

I don't know if it's just me but is the menu in the header about 1px shy on the left and right of being the same width as the content?

I would make the padding on the home and contact us links be the same as the other three (home is pulled to the left and contact us to the right with firefox at least).

I would consider shortening the create account page unless you really need all of that info from your customers.

Just my thoughts! Best of luck.

Matt

I Like the toys

Insert in header content some keywords
Shipping & Returns - left align the shipping table
Lastly, ssl for shop front end? Maybe keep this for customer area

Cool site
Contributions successfully installed : Header tags SEO, Scrolling new products, Customer testimonials, Support tickets, Polls, Link exchange, SPPC, X-sell, Master products, Dhtml menu, Image cache, Slide show, Product videos, Product custom sort, Product notes, Discount coupons, Ask question(review style + admin), CP builder, Customers also purchased, price list, // SEO URLS 5, and forgot the others and then a real admin setup.

Hey Tom,

Gee I never knew Johnny Lightning has been around since 1969... I remember Matchbox.

Super slow loading for me on Dial-up = 14 minutes for the index page. :o

Lose the Language and Currencies options since English and USD are the only options.
Turn off the category counts (adds to slow load times).
Not sure I like the little arrow/box in the infobox headers, thought they were clickable.
Entire site does not need to be under SSL, also slows things down.
Could not find a Contact Us page.
Your thumbnail images are adding to the slow load speed. The file size is the same as the pop-up image (98752 bytes).
The pop-up box needs height added as it cuts off the bottom of the pic.
As mentioned previously, fix the spacing in the top nav bar.
Oop's my bad... found the hidden Contact Us link. No address or phone number!
Lot's of wasted white space in the footer.

Humm... selling WalMart exlusives, careful with that.

Nice site and good luck! ;)

Hey, Thanks for your input. I did some looking searching, the average load for my website is 6.08 sec, your on dial-up, so it would be longer. I will look into the other small edits. Yes, Johnny Lightning have been around for awhile. Walmart Exclusives are great sellers.

Hey Tom,

I realize that sites are slow on my dial-up, but yours is wicked slow.

I'm not new to osC.

I only mentioned it because there are still alot of us poor saps stuck with dial-up.

Most osC sites I visited load in less than 3 minutes, heck most sites in general are more than twice as fast.

I have never run across a site that takes that long to load in my browser.

I really would suggest you take a look at speeding it up a little.

Would hate for your potiential customers to leave your site before it even loads.

Just trying to help!

Site looks very nice. Is this the first site you designed with oscommerce? It may not be perfect yet but the base structure is very good and solid. It does not look like those (thats an oscommerce site) which is typical. You can continue to tweak and improve and it should do very well.

I would recommend changing all external links to open in either a new window or tab... never take them away from your site completely.:)
That "Can" you're about to open... has worms!
Don't say I didn't worn ya.
n. pl. cans of worms Informal - A source of unforeseen and troublesome complexity.
