HI just installed the latest 3.0.2

can someone point me in the right direction for using templates.

do i need simple template system add on? can i do without?

is the any documentation on using templates?

On the download on the site it does not say its not production ready.

also checked the documentation and it says:

The file listed on line 7 is the template class which installs and uninstalls the template design pack from the store front-end and is executed from the Administration Tool.

there is no such tool in the admin that i can find.........

I know it doesn't say it is not ready, countless requests to the development team to mark it as a Beta have fallen on deaf ears.



v2.3.1 is the latest stable release.

installed 2.3.1

sts dosnt work with this ... am i right

there dosnt seem to be any other template system thats compatible.

there are files called template top , template bottom  but in the file they mostly refer to $oscTemplate->blah blah which im guessing is a class..

is there some sort of template system incorporated?

STS will not be compatible with any future releases from v2.3.1 on.


You can use Theme Roller to change theme's for v2.3.1
