Guest Posted March 14, 2003 Share Posted March 14, 2003 Hi, does anyone know if there is a contribution that you can use to offer recommended accessories to the customer when they go to check-out? e.g. similar to amazon I am the owner of a business that is creating an oscommerce site for retailing sound gear and would like to offer, as an example, the opportunity for the customer to purchase headphones when they buy a cd player. Anyway, I'm building a contribution called "recommendations" that shows something like the "also bought" and that can be put on every page - also on checkout pages and the basket. It grabs the info from the current page (products shown, category, ...) and looks at the orders for linked products... You can have a look at http://test.ednique.be. You'll see it in the footer....
