Hey all,

Just a quick question for all you experts.
I'm about to commission someone so that he would update the old Ogone payment module (that can be found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,5126/category,1/search,ogone) so that it would work with the new SHA-1 IN and OUT calculation that Ogone has put into place.
Now, I wonder how difficult of a job this is... As I don't know much about coding, I don't know what kind of workload this represents.
That's why I'm asking you guys. Wouldn't wanna get ripped off :)

So, does it only require to add a couple of code lines... or does it mean the whole module has to be rewritten for it to work?

TK,

The cost of creating a payment module varies greatly on the information provided by the payment processor. If they have an API in place and just need integration into osCommerce then it is less work to create the interface. If they offer no API then the code has to be generated from scratch. Having said that, you could expect to pay a developer anywhere from 200-600.

OK, that's about it for the price.
Thanks for confirming, Chris! :)
