We recently upgraded from OSC v2.2 RC2 to v2.3.1. In 2.2 I was able to easily specify a quantity discount per product. That feature seems to have gone away. Is there a way to implement this in v2.3.1 without having to do PHP coding and such? It was really easy for us non-programmers in V2.2. Thanks!

Jim,

The Quantity Discount contribution has been re-worked to function with v2.3.1. There may be update instructions in it and if not, then you would have to remove the old code and then install the contribution. YES, you will have to make code edits, as you did with v2.2.

Chris, thanks for the response. I do have that installed, but I need to be able to specify quantity discounts on a per-product basis and I don't think that does it.

Jim,

I believe the contribution creator offers professional services, you may want to contact him directly.

Chris
I understand I can probably pay to have someone implement this. I'm puzzled why this very useful feature would be eliminated as it was in the previous version and I can't believe that someone hasn't already implemented this...

Jim,

You are mistaken. It was NOT implemented in the previous version. It was an add on to the previous version. Your website developer more than likely installed it for you. osCommerce does not come with ANY standard features other than multi-image pop up, Header Tags and Social Bookmarks which were just released with v2.3.1 as standard.
