Pierre is correct. Change the footer to reflect "Powered By osCommerce" or we will have to delete the thread :(

Very slow loading for me. The pictures are huge.

Overall look is great in my opinion.

It loads fine in IE6, IE5, Opera 6, and Mozilla 1.0, and looks the same in all of them. These are the only browsers I have installed right now.

I only checked the front page. You can download all of the browsers above, for free if you want to test the rest yourself.

I don't have any load time issues but the left column is completely unusable with the background images you have. You should really rethink that as it takes a lot away from an otherwise nice site. In fact, it takes away enough that people most likely will not visit a second time.

Not sure what wayne means by it being unusable. it was completely readable, and usable in every browser I tried.

Perhaps he means the only language he can read is english?

Nope, I mean that with my eyesite, I couldn't read the text in the left hand column unless I press "CTRL-A" to select all on the page. It was completely unusable. Personally I don't care about the language because I know I can always go somewhere to have it translated.

think its not that hard to see what is written in the left column. you are the first one to tell me that. I asked all my friend and noone point that one..even with a daltonic friend Ive.
what monitor do you have bright, contrast, gamma?
and if you cant read you can go for the pictures below the text
below mulher (woman) you can see a womans picture
below man (man) you can see a mans pictures
promos and and news I didnt find a good picture so I changed the colors
info Im creating a new background so even if you cant read you can understand...
about the size I think you are right, Still Waiting, its to heavy...
I removed the header and the footer image (40k the two) but the site was to "naked".
I will try to reduce the size of those images, thanks for the tip. Ive a 640k connection here so everything is fast to load.

thanks for the tips both.

I had no problems with Netscape 7.0. And it loaded quickly on my DSL connection.

I think it's a really nice design. Great job customizing.

However, personally, I'd tweak some of the images. I too have a problem with the left side buttons/images. The backgrounds for the Novidades, Promocoes and Informacoes buttons are too dark and they make the contrast difficult to read on my monitor. I find that contrast differs greatly from computer screen to computer screen and seeing it from other peoples' perspectives helps. I would make the backgrouns on these much lighter so the contrast stands out more.

I'd also do the same for all the header images. Example - http://www.personalcare.com.pt/catalog/ima...s/novidades.gif
Make the grey background on these two shades lighter so the black doesn't mix into the grey. It will make it more clear to read.

Besides that, I think it's a really well crafted design. Good job.

Ive reduced the size of the images to half without losing qualitity (I hope) Now all first page is 55k before was 110k.

Ive put the letters in black (they where dark grey) in the left colunm and light the background to get better contrast. Here is still have great contrast.
Ive a 19" Hitachi CM753 monitor with a ATI 8500 retail.

Thanks you all for the feedback you are giving.
