I imagine i'm not the only one who's happy with their 2.2 store. I have all of the security patches up until the RC versions. No interest in upgrading.
However, does 2.3 or 3.0 fix any security patches that haven't previously been covered? The announcement forum is gone and that's typically where I got my security patches information from.

I always tell my clients, if they are happy with the RC2a store and it is secured, there is no reason to update to 2.3.1 and since v3.x is not currently stable it is not even an option.
Even when a stable 3.x is released, I will tell my RC2a and 2.3.1 clients the same thing. Don't upgrade.

Good news, thanks DunWeb. 
this is my primary concern; did 2.3 see the release of any security patches that weren't covered in 2.2 or the release candidate versions? The info available without the announcements forum is sloppy, at best.

Currently, there are no security patches or code edits required for v2.3.1. However, I still suggest the 5 'must have' security contributions.

Yes, there are two security patches in 2.3.1. See the upgrade_guide.pdf file in the 2.3.1 release -- the security patches are marked SEC. I also recommend the ones marked BUG as those fix known issues with 2.2RC2a, but that's up to you.

Thanks. I took a look at the install guide & those labeled SEC I already covered those in custom code or contributions.
Looks like smooth sailing until future versions of php break it, or new security patches are released.
I wonder how many of us will stick with their 2.2 cart once 3.0 is released?
