Hi everyone,

I am in a critical situation where I need to setup First Data Global Gateway account with an osCommerce website. The support and services in the First Data website is useless. Can anyone know how can this be done. Is there any API available? What is the process???

A payment API for First Data does exist. It's the Linkpoint API, the old name of First Data. Find it here.

Here is the support thread.

It's very easy to install. After installation, you have to download the CERT file from the First Data Linkpoint control panel. I am stuck at that point as First Data does not have my correct TIN on file. Been working on that issue for a very long time. Its to the point that even though I've sunk a few hundred bucks into getting the First Data gateway opened, I am about to change to a different gateway.

Just to update on this, I did finally get the .PEM (CERT) file downloaded, and after putting it in the correct folder (includes/modules/payment/linkpoint_api) IT WORKS! Hope this helps others.

just a question:
are you using firstdata or global gateway with firstdata.

Balam,

Read some of the other responses you have received about this in the other 3 threads you have replied to. You will find that the Linkpoint API is for the First Data payment gateway.
