I am having trouble with Additional Protection With htaccess/htpasswd

This osCommerce Online Merchant Administration Tool installation is not additionally secured through htaccess/htpasswd means.

The following files need to be writable by the web server to enable the htaccess/htpasswd security layer:

* /clientdata/zeus-dynamic-1/m/w/*************/www/*****/.htaccess
* /clientdata/zeus-dynamic-1/m/w/*************/www/*****/.htpasswd_oscommerce

Reload this page to confirm if the correct file permissions have been set.

I have deleted the htpasswd_oscommerce file which it said to but still comes up with the info as show above. And my Administrators still showing unsecured red dot.

Does any one know how to fix this problem?

the HTTPS and protection directories completely different type of security.
Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!
8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.
Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Put back the htpasswd_oscommerce file and try to change your admin username and password and tick the checkboxe (should appear once the htpasswd_oscommerce is uploaded).
if u lost follow this guide http://www.clubosc.com/oscommerce-rc3-installation-is-super-simple.html

Good luck. I had the same issue ;)
