Meta Tags for V2.3+

osCommerce 2.3 have a modular header tags system build in, but its very basic and only gives title tags for products, manufacturers and categories.

Modular SEO Header Tags is an easy "drop-in" install module for 2.3 which will give you more options for titles and meta tags for your shop.

The newer versions of Header Tags SEO does also include instructions for install to osCommerce 2.3, This is a bit more advanced add-on which will require some manual file editing to install.

Other Meta Tag Add-Ons:

Other older "Automatic" Meta Tags mods which in 2.2 required you to edit individual shop files like index.php, products_info.php and so on,  can usually be made to work with 2.3 by instead just adding in some code to this file:  includes/template_top.php

A new version of Easy Meta Tags have been added which includes instructions for using the add-on on a osCommerce 2.3 based shop.

Toyicebear, thank you so much for putting Easy Meta Tags together and letting everyone know it's now v2.3 compatible.  A lot of the generated tags aren't perfect, but it's sooo much better than having nothing and Google seems to be having an easier time finding my site.  Have a great day!

KissMT Dynamic SEO Meta & Canonical Header Tags has also been released in a 2.3+ version.
