Hello I have newly installed OS commerce and then I installed this front page modular add on. I have done this set up 3 times now and the banner rotator still will not show up. All other modules work except that one. I have read though the posts and I don't think anything that has been mentioned applies to my issue.

Can someone give me any advice on how to get it to show up?

Hi. I´ve installed the addon and enter admin area. After click in modules / front page this error message apears:
Warning: require(includes/front_page.html) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in admin/modules.php on line 219

@karen789 -- What I've told everyone else: Make certain that your Javascript tags are correct and the files are in the right places. Use View Source in Firefox and click on each one of the links in the Head section of the page. Fix any links that return a Not Found message. If yoiu have Theme Switcher installed, revert to version 1.1 of that Addon.

@guilherne -- There are no HTML files in this Addon. You have some sort of URL rewriter installed that is corrupting the URLs. Turn it off.

Ok. Thanks. It seens the problem is the URK rewriter.

This add-on is just what I am looking for, the only problem is I can not open that file type. Any suggestions?

I would suggest you find an open source program that will open that file type.

Google will do it.

I have took on your advice and from what I can see my tags and files are in the right place.
I have checked my header section too and all files are fine.

How many banners do you have assigned to the rotator? What are the banner rotator module settings?

Only your default 4 banners.

The settings are default too.
Fade time 500,
hold time 4000,
banner order - banner_id,
banner rotator group - rotator,
banner rotator max banners 4.

Hello, I've run the module with me on is very well done.
I only have the problem that in the New Products module of title: New Products for January will be displayed in one language only. Can I set it somewhere that it displays the title of the language file? I have the page in English, German and Greek.

@karen789 -- Check that the banners are assigned to the rotator group.

@leathernecksswflcom -- Check that the files in the admin section are correctly installed, then force a reload of the admin page.

@fjuergens -- Unfortunately that module is currently single language. I should fix that some day, but I don't know when I will have the time.

Banners are assigned in the Banner Manager tool. Please refer to the osCommerce instructions section on the Banner Manager for help.

Hi Jim,

I have enabled the scroller module and checked the installation several times.

Problem that I have on my 2.3.1 development site is that the scroller does not scroll at all, either in manual or auto.

Check all of your Javascript and stylesheet tags in the head section of the page using View Source. I can't do any more without looking at the site.
