valar78
Maybe my question is stupid, and i'm sorry for my bad english... :( But: is it possible to make a customer user, who has just registerd, inactive untill he send us a document proving his activity? for inactive i mean that he shouldn't be allowed to buy anything, until i, the administrator, activate him! in the osc i just installed, if a customer registers an account he can buy anything as the account is created.... well, my english seems to be uglyer, but i hope you'll understand my qustion! thanks in advance! valar78 peace, please! hobbzilla
1st. Read the Rules. Don't bump your posts. Just a common courtesy. 2nd. Yes that could be done fairly easily. You would need to simply add another field char(1) to the customers table. Call it say 'active' with a default of 0. Where 0 is inactive & 1 is active. You can then setup in admin under the customers the additional field to show kind of like the option to subscribe/unsubscribe from the newsletter. Only it would be active/inactive. This has been brought up before and if you did a search you would find several threads. Here is a recent one: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36671
